Papago's unreliability

It seemed such a nice thing that Papago had the option to translate English into Korean using the honorific, but of this writing, sometimes the honorific is switched with the non-honorific.

I have prepared sets of vocabulary flashcards based on the glossaries of Sejong Korean Conversation 1-4 (세종한국어 회화 1-4) textbooks as well as flashcards for Sejong Korean 4-7 (세종한국어 4-7). To use them download the anki app  (the desktop versions for Windows, or Mac OS, and for Android devices are all free, but the app for iOS costs $25). Then download any of the decks  mentioned.  These vocabulary flashcards typically first present the Hangul of the item with an audio recording, which looks like this on the mobile (tap the black arrow to hear the audio repeated): Tap "show answer" at the bottom, and the other side shows up: The idea behind these cards is "spaced repetition", so depending on how well you remember the item, you tap on one of those colored boxes to determine how soon it will be shown to you again. The card later shows up with the English side first. The default is ten new cards a day, but after several days you'll probably find you'

Finding textbooks, workbooks & audio files on the Sejong Hakdang Website

The Sejong Hakdang Website has recently been redesigned, and new materials have been added. Go to https://nuri.iksi.or.kr/front/main/main.do Login Click on the menu icon ≡ in the upper left-hand corner. Click on "Learning", and on the drop-down menu choose "Text Books".  Click on the image of a book to see its links. While the textbooks can only be viewed online ("E-Book"), there are also links to downloadable audio files (labelled "Learning Support"). New workbooks accompanying the Sejong Korean Conversation texts can be downloaded in .pdf form and they also have audio files. Below are some items I've found useful as a student of the  King Sejong Institute The King Sejong Institute Foundation has an e-book version of their textbooks, including the  Sejong Korean Conversation (세종한국어 회화) series available to be viewed online (but not downloaded or printed) at their website: https://nuri.iksi.or.kr/front/main/main.do   Further details here The Sejong Korean (세종한국어) textbooks are also available online: Two other  Sejong Institute apps can be downloaded and  are partially functional offline.  The "Sejong Korean Conversation - Basic"  app  ( Android ; iPhone ) is a supplement for  Sejong Korean Conversation 1  (세종한국어 회화 1).  The icon looks like this: This app offers some  help in practicing dialogs  but  doesn't have all the vocabulary from the  Sejong Korean Conversation 1  book.   The "Sejong Korean Vocabulary" app (" Beginner·Intermediate " for Android; " Sejong Korean Vocab
